We
ride mainly on the beautiful Perthshire estate of
Balnakilly owned by Mr and Mrs A G Reid. A quiet 1
hour trek would typically take you through gently
sloping fields, into woodland, around a picturesque
loch and back home along the riverside. Other short
rides may also be available, depending on riders ability
and the time of year.
The longer ride of up to 2 hours would take you up
through the highest slopes of Balnakilly, onto heather
clad hills and into the hills beyond with perhaps
a canter in the forest.
Longer rides go far into the forest and can include
several canters and a good deal of trotting, including
a picnic stop at a high and very beautiful lochside.
From there we can continue for several hours to complete
a circle coming back through Enochdhu or walk back
at a leisurely pace for an hour and a half.
